Sorry about the no show yesterday, you guys! I got called in last minute to work the Avicii show.

Do you guys know what an Avicii is?

I didn’t.

From the information I have gathered in the extensive 4 minutes of research I did, he’s some Swedish kid that plays other people’s music on a USB stick and has a really sweet light show and is a huge rock star and can sell out 35,000 seat arenas for two nights in a row. I guess he also “produces” his own stuff, too, but mostly he plays other people’s stuff.

He is what the kids are calling a “DJ”.

And he is a genius.

I had never heard of an Avicii before, but apparently, the kids like him.

My only regret, is that I didn’t think of this brilliant money-making scheme first.

So with that said:

Today, I’m also distracted as I work a consecutive 18 for day for Drake, another artist I’ve never heard of who people seem to enjoy.

My friend and colleague for today likes him and told me he has a song called Hold On We’re Going Home. 

I did a quick google search on him to find out more and here is what I have learned:

Drake’s from Canada

He is a Black Jewish Guy

Drake rhymes with cake, too.
